Check out the question that was submitted.

Q: whats the deal with this coin never seen a one dollar gold indian coin? would like to know more about it
A: Sorry, I don't quite understand

Very cute.

This is frightening in two different ways. First, the seller thought it would fool anyone. Second, there are people that this might fool.

I'd pay $1 for such a comical forgery, but I'm aware that that is $1 more than most people on CCF.
I'm astonished that it went for $66.00.
It's a shame that some newb will eventually discover that he has been ripped off, and might leave the hobby - with a justified sense of greivance.
At the same time, this is a salutary lesson as to why we tell newbs -
"buy the book, before you buy the coin" ...
or at least, read up on it on CCF.

Counterfeit? I don't know. It sure is a crude imitation, but since instead of a face value it merely has this "Fine Dollar" ...

With a name like "china2070" why would anyone be suspicious?
