Bryan has been on me for quite a while about taking photos of my 7070. I have not wanted to do so because of the time involved in doing it right.
Well, the time has come for me to show him how bad my quickie-photo skills are. I wanted to get photos of my old copper for Moe's thread anyway, so I had to make some time, even if it was not the right amount of time.
Hopefully this will also show others that a 7070 does not have to be pretty, just something you want to do.
I only had the time to take the obverse photos. I did photograph the reverse of the first page; however, it took me almost three minutes to get the slides back in place! Those slides have never been removed (I bought the album in 1993) and it was impossible to find the slit.

Let me explain the extreme differeneces in the photos...
I took three or four photos of each page, with different settings on the camera. I only had the camera window to verify them at the time and did not know how good or bad they were until I loaded them onto the computer yesterday. I took the best photo for each row, rather than the best overall page.

I will mark this day in history! I am so glad you took the time to take the shots I have asked for so many times over the years. I love your set and if it were mine I would be showing it off every chance I had gotten. I can't thank you enough for actually doing this for all of us to see instead of trying to keep it all to yourself

Thank you for the accolades. I used my old Kodak C533, which is nothing fancy at all (simple point-and-shoot digital). Given more time and a better venue with proper lighting, I hope to use my wife's Canon (DSLR) and a tripod. If I am going to do that much work, I will probably have to wait until it is finished. But for now, she is what she is.

By the way, Moe, you can finally see the only other Morgan dollar that I have (besides the two I got from you).
