Hey Guys.. I found this cent tonight.. is this a 1998 wide A.M. it looks like it. The spacing is much more even than the other versions I've seen where the AM are close together. Is this any premium on those cents.. I believe they are trickier to find. Thanks

Since you have the coin in hand, you should also compare the FG initials next to the lincoln memorial. On the Wide AM, the FG will be closer to the memorial, and in the normal coins, the FG will be a little farther away. check that out. but based off of the AMERICA, looks like you got one.

The nice thing about 1998 cents is that they tend to be plentiful if you're roll searching. I actually keep a 1998 with a regular reverse as a 'reference/comparison' coin. Once you place the suspected wide A.M. and the normal reverse side-by-side, the difference (if there is one) becomes even that much more evident.

I think it's a WAM...spacing seems too far apart on the A&M for a regular...and the FG looks close to memorial

Hey Guys! Thanks so much for your thoughts on the cent! :) I've also attached the initials as one of the posters requested.. the photo is a tiny bit blurry.. still gotta figure out the best way to take pics & scan these.

It was funny I've been looking for one of these for a while and picked up $4 in CWR.. and actually found 2 of these in the 8 rolls. This one was a lot cleaner though.
