Needs a bit more of LIBERTY to qualify as VG; I'd say G-6, with original surfaces. The hits on the obverse are a bit distracting but not out of line for a lower-grade coin like this. Nice semi-key date!

thanks. I have about 40 in my collection, but this one is probably the most valuable so far as I only have several other low grade semi-keys. It's interesting, because I was on the fence between a 6 and an 8 for this grade. It has a little less "Liberty" than other VGs I've seen(though I can see parts of the "TY", but overall looks stronger than a 6.

Don't have that many yet in my Barber dime Dansco yet John, but I am also doing a VG/F set.
I was going with G6 originally but after seeing the VG8 on PCGS online grading, I went with VG8.
Well, subjective right ;)
Nice coin!
Sold a few coins today so I will get back to packaging. My cell phone showed me this post...your interupting me...lol!

G6 details. Don't like that damage on reverse at U. Also uneven color and rim ding/scratch at 4 oclock on obverse would bother me. Oh well, it's not going to bust the bank so probably ok as an album coin.
