The hits on the obverse are a bit distracting but not out of line for a lower-grade coin like this. Nice semi-key date! Report this Post to the Staff

I have about 40 in my collection, but this one is probably the most valuable so far as I only have several other low grade semi-keys. It's interesting, because I was on the fence between a 6 and an 8 for this grade. It has a little less "Liberty" than other VGs I've seen(though I can see parts of the "TY", but overall looks stronger than a 6. Report this Post to the Staff

I was going with G6 originally but after seeing the VG8 on PCGS online grading, I went with VG8. Well, subjective right ;) Nice coin! Sold a few coins today so I will get back to packaging. Also uneven color and rim ding/scratch at 4 oclock on obverse would bother me. Oh well, it's not going to bust the bank so probably ok as an album coin. Report this Post to the Staff
