That medal has been reminted a number of times but yours appears to be a more modern iteration. Report this Post to the Staff

I am not sure who made it, but I am certain mine a private issue (reproduction) and not a US Mint product. Mine was purchased at the Lincoln Home in Springfield, IL as a kid in the 1980s and mine is also in a US Mint cello pack. Report this Post to the Staff

The Mint has continued to restrike many medals that were originally issued years ago; some, originally issued back into the 1800's. The original, early strikes tend to be more sharply struck.
