Does anyone know the mintage figures for the following 20 Kroner coins:

---KM#468 "Future" (2000)

---KM#471 "Niels Henrik Abel" (2002)

---KM#478 "Railway" (2004)

---KM#479 "Ibsen" (2006)

Secondly, was the regular 20 Kroner coin minted for circulation in the years these 20 Kroner commemorative coins were issued?

In the case of the Henrik Ibsen coin, the central bank says that "The ordinary 20-krone coin will not bear the date 2006." http://www.norges-bank.no/en/notes-...rative-coin/

According to the Schön, the regular piece was not made in 1999, 2004 and 2006. Norges Bank does apparently not provide any details, but it does have information about how many pieces were issued in total in the past six years. See http://www.norges-bank.no/Upload/En..._2010_en.htm and click on "Table 10" in the menu on the left or at the bottom.

Thanks for the information.

I guess, we can conclude from the Norges Bank web-site that the "Ibsen" coin had a mintage of 1.000.000
It's too bad it does not have the mintage figures for the other coins.

And, one can assume, that the 20 Kroner coins for circulation in 2004 were only the "Railway" coins.

This looks like a question for me, Norwegian coins is right up my alley.

Mintage:
20 kr 2000 "Future": 1 032 307. Regular issue 2000: 11 113 370
20 kr 2002 "Abel": 1 048 700. Regular issue 2002: 20 459 000
20 kr 2004 "Railway: 500 000. Regular issue 2004: Nought
20 kr 2006 "Ibsen": 832 500. Regular issue 2006: Nought

The 1 000 000 given for Ibsen was cut down due to lower need than anticipated.
