IMHO has a shot at MS65 .. but concerned about wear/rub/planchet marks above Ira Allen ear on the obverse. I'm going MS65 or better on the Wisconsin ... excellent coin and great photo to capture the luster! I've lost track with all these coins in 1 thread ... what do you still need to complete the type set? Many Thanks for the photos ... nickelsearcher Moderator United States 15466 Posts	Posted 09/16/2011 8:15 pm More exceptional coins PG ... tough to grade without having them in hand but mid-high MS for each for sure. I'm saying MS64 as a baseline ... adjust plus or minus based on your personal observations. The eagle on the reverse of your Illinois (Linclon) is my favorite eagle in this series ... slightly ahead IMHO of Henry Kreis funky art deco eagle on the reverse of the 1936 Bridgeport half (I know you have that coin). Likewise ... the Mayflower fighting the high seas is one of my favorites of the many ships depicted in the series ... extra credit for anyone who can list all the coins in the classic US silver commemorative series with ships on them. I am thrilled for you as you near the completion of your set ... we each need two ... like you I am in no hurry and patiently waiting on the proper coins. I think it has quite a lot of potential with rich toning which doesn't quite fit my ilk, but it looked so clean I had to buy it. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow and I'll post it. IMHO this coin has the distinction of a very unique strike/design ... tough to describe in words ... but the broad rims and deep fields set this coin apart from all others in the series. Best I could afford is this PCGS MS64/CAC example ... the price jump is 3x ($1000 to $3000) to MS65. Looking forward to seeing your example! From following your exploits in these pages, I believe the following statements are correct ... 1. You are housing your lovely set in a Dansco or other such album ... raw coins not plastic encapsulated. 2. You know (or we would have told you otherwise) they are genuine ... so provenance is not an issue. 3. You know the actual grades plus or minus a few points already. Anyways .... that decision made I'll offer my official non-guaranteed somewhat learned opinion on what the TPG will say ... If the coins are going to ANACS or NGC .... Vermont is MS65 and Hudson is MS64 If the coins are going to PCGS .... Vermont is MS64 and Hudson is MS63 Great coins Paleoguy ... I had some key Washingtons (32D, 36D, 36 Proof) and SLQs I was sending in and just tossed the two commems (gently) in the box. And you are correct in that they will be broken out and have a permanent (my terms) home in the DANSCO. BTW, I'm getting ready to send Missouri to NCS for conservation and probably on to NGC for grading (just for drill of course)... Report this Post to the Staff

It looks genuine, and ebay would afford you the protection if it turned out not to be genuine... I would bid on it except I just "invested" in 50 Morgans for resale and don't have the fluidity.
