What was the original issue price for the "2007 United States Mint Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set" ?

This had the Burnished Uncirculated ASE in the center.....a Sacagawea, and the first four Presidential Dollars in a circle around the ASE.
Kind of a neat little Set, I always thought.
These were only available for '07 & '08 I believe, and then discontinued.

If this link is correct it was $31.95

I have seen this set in shops, for some reason not given it much thought. Do you know what they are currently selling for? I might have to pick one up

Thanks for that info, that's what I was wondering.
But I didn't remember them being $32.00 plus shipping ! ...
I believe I got a couple of the '07's and the '08's at the time..... but I was hoping that I only paid about $19.95 or something ! .... [:(..]

Hey..... What was the price of Silver in December when they went on sale that year ?

Was this Set priced appropriately then ?

I have a feeling that dealers would only have interest in the ASE in this Set, and NOT the Sacagawea or the Prez. dollars of course !

So basically, (and locally), I could only expect to get $25.00 or so for a Set that COST me $37.00 with shipping ** 4 or 5 years ago ! ....
Despite Silver doing what it has in the last 4-5 years..... I S.T.I.L.L take a loss on this were I to sell it now ?

SHEEESH ! ......sigh.........I guess....The Mint strikes AGAIN right ? ......Grrrr

A couple bucks over spot you should be able to get for those sets. But hang on to them for a little longer. Silvers going up, beyond the $50 high. IMO its a great buying time. Think you've got a good investment their.

Did you enjoy owning it for those 4 or 5 years? There's a certain dollar amount to be placed on that. But also a look on google shopping shows the dollar alone going for considerably over spot. Looks like $55 and up for just the dollar.

A little more research is needed but I think you did OK.

Both the 2007 and 2008 were $31.95 at release, I have 5 each and am hoping, now that the Burnished is back, they will make 2011 available

I think you are still ok on the price. I did see one of these in a local shop and bought it for $35 today.

The way I see it, there is a burnished 2007 "W" ASE which still has a higher value than the bullion ASE.
Plus 5 satin finished small dollars. I think these are worth more than face value.

Waiting for when Silver hits $50.00 an ounce before I think anymore about selling a couple of them........

"even money" or a slight loss does NOT please me much after about 5 years of Silver prices going crazy with these ! And the ASE being the centerpiece !........
