What are you guys wheat per roll stats? I had been getting an average of about 2-3 per 10 rolls, but I just did 20 rolls and got only 2! Sometimes its's better, sometimes it's worse. What kinds of stats do you guys have?

One time a box gave me 60, another time I got 2 from a box. It just depends I guess, Usually it seems like 1 per 3 rolls for me.

Hand wrapped, customer brought in rolls from bank: 10-20 per $25
Bank wrapped rolls in box: 0-5 per $25

I often find that around here, most self rolled coins are marked, and are probably other hunters. Though I do try to get hand wrapped, I those can be great scores if they are not picked through by collectors already

Not sure what you're looking for...
About 10 wheats per $25 box, mostly post 1940.
About 18-10 coppers per roll.

43 in my first box, with 20 Canadian and 20 S-mint Memorial cents as well.
I'll probably hold off on another box until I move.

43 wheats in a $25 box? That seems insane! I wish I had that luck

It was all bank wrapped, too.

First box of cents (brinks from Wells Fargo) yielded less than 2 rolls of zinc. Pretty much all from the 60s and 70s. Got quite a few copper Canadian cents too. Forgot to count but around 25-30 wheats, mostly from the 40s and 1 from the 20s. A few S mints too. So I just turned my $25 into $50.

I'd say I agree with the common response...it depends. I'm in canada and my first case gave me quite a few, about 30 but no king george vi. :( My next case had about 3 whearies however, about 15 King George VI.

I save my king Georges too, double j :)
And about bank wrapped coins, sometimes it really doesn't matter how they are wrapped. Banks with a sorter take what people give them and the machine rolls it for them. If this is where the rolls are coming from, you're getting the same quality from machine rolled.

Not sure if anyone can help me out by the below photo. But I got what appears to be a blank planchet. How do I know if it's real and if it is real, how do I know what it's worth? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm no expert by far, but if it was a planchet, why would it have the rigged edge, like it had been struck? It is really odd either way, great find! I hope someone more knowledgeable responds soon!

Double J thats pretty cool. Thats a planchet after the rim had been milled. They usually sell for 3 or 4 bucks.
