Does anyone have a complete list of known Sheldon and Newcomb varieties and their current rarity standings? If not, I can make my own. Thanks all!

I have a CQR, 2011 edition, the last one to be published. So actual as of that date. I am not aware of any more up-to-date listings. If you need any specific numbers, I can try to help.

Yeah, I just use CQR. Or if I'm too lazy to get the book off the shelf, I search a listing on HA, they almost always have the R. number.

No EAC expert here, but I use NGC's VarietyPlus, and Heritage to fill in the blanks. You'll find just about every variety covered between the two.

Copper Quotes is a good reference to have, though will soon be out of date as Robinson has quit publishing it with volume #20. There is also Bill Noyes "Official CQR/Noyes Condition Census of U.S. Large Cents 1793-1814" ©1999, a book I have if you need me to look up anything just PM me and I'd be happy to help. The Noyes Large cent book set of 5 volumes also lists CC on all the large cents from 1793-1857, which I also posses (one of my pricier book purchases), that is probably one of the later published CC reports as the last few volumes are still relatively new. Heritage Auctions (as previously mentioned) is great as my friend Mark Borckardt works for them now (previously Bowers & Ruddy/Merena), he is one of the best at writing auction descriptions, and matching provenance coins up to past auctions. His work on the Walter Husak sale catalog was monumental and IMO one of the very best auction catalogs ever produced (Goldberg's Missouri Cabinet of Half Cents, and 4 part Dan Holmes Catalogs are a close second and third). Due to coins still being found, cherrypicked at shows, auctions and uncovered in long lost collections, even in CC, the ratings change all the time, so I'm not exactly sure of the very latest CC reports. But for many years Bill Noyes is considered to be the keeper of such information.
