I have in my collection the above mentioned coin. I am having alot of trouble finding legitimate value on it. Ive been told that above 1.6 grams and it is in fact quite valuable. Any advice?

You have a circulaed Vichy French coin
The LB is the disigners initials
yours is circulated and is of minimal value
it is made of aluminum minted in Paris.

in a nice uncirculated these are worth less than $10 US.

They are interesting historical coins. I have one that my great uncle carried as he took a walking tour of France durring the war.

I have 4 examples of the 2 Franc Vichy. They weigh between 2.1 and 2.2 grams, as does the non-Vichy one.

That appears to be the normal weight.

The 1.6g figure is for the 1 Franc coin. I do not believe there is a heavy variety of 2 franc.
