Picked up this 2000D Sacagawea Mellennium set coin PL67 a couple days ago. Plan to complete the release year set of slabbed coins including the Goodacre and wounded eagle! :). I will update the progress as I go, but due to price of 2 it may take a while!   Edited by ElonU

It was a small mintage set of the dollar, silver eagle and dollar bill (all serials for the bill began with 2000). The Sacagawea dollar is burnished with a proof like appearance, minted differently than the others. My Coin Digest book says only 5,500 were minted but I think it's said 75,000 were actually minted. Pretty cool coin IMO. Edited by ElonU

I have seen these sets in the past, could have picked them up cheap  I did not know there were special Sac's in the set. I am thinking I will be picking up a couple sets I the future. Thanks for posting .... And keep us up on the progress on obtaining them all. |

Along with the mellenium set coin in the OP, I have the "cheapies" out of the way :) Really digging the PF70 DCAM! :)    |
