So August came and went....did anyone who was promised a free box by John Moore in that 'correction' e-mail actually receive one?
Quote for August 17th e-mail: "we will be sending you a custom wooden collector case in August 2016 to recognize your loyalty during the 2015-2016 program year."

I received that email. No case! Still waiting. false promises!! Been looking at the status of orders on my Mint order profile, and nothing added.

How about the free coin, the 2016 Canada Master Club Exclusive #2 - Orca - $20 Pure Silver Scallop-Edged Coin? I'm only MC Platinum and would need to buy one if I wanted one. Last year the coin did go for sale to the lower MC levels, but I don't expect to see that happen anytime soon. With the new rule that at any time throughout the year, if you purchase enough to reach a higher MC level, you will receive all the benefits for that year and for the next full year. So because RCM has no idea how many people might reach that level to get the free coin, they need to keep enough coins set aside for them. If they did sell the coins now, there may not be enough for people who reach the higher level later in the year and they wouldn't get the coin they were promised. But then again, they did promise me that I'd get the chance to purchase special coins. I'm still waiting for that. Edited by rjlavoie

No event invitations.
I'm At the platinum level.... Doesn't seem any different than silver really.

I'm At the platinum level.... Doesn't seem any different than silver really. The only difference between Silver and Platinum level is the free case and now they got rid of that too. You don't get a free coin with Platinum. You need to be Platinum Plus - $5000 and above to get any real benefit, ie the free coin. As Platinum you do get special coins offered for sale but only after higher tiers get first crack at it. |
