I'm assuming the case is sent in August, reflecting the amount to date at the start of the previous July 1st. I got a case last year with no notice. It was a nice surprise. That was when the new program began and I had unknowingly became a platinum member. I would assume there will be added perks to the program as time progresses. Box or frame or something I'm sure will be in the future for mc members

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do!! I took a break mid mar, I started home renos and the past month I have been out in my rock gardens. I felt I needed a break from collecting. I let my MC membership laspse. It doesn't take much to restore it if I so choose at the silver level.
i did watch the Canada day coin show with Steven. I picked up some coins I wanted at bargain prices, plus a 201 fractional set I wanted. Also a 5 oz cube coin from austrilia mintage 500. I wanted it for the artwork. Nice thing no shipping fees. These purchases would of made me instant MC.
i was amazed at the deep discounts the coin packages were going for. I agree as always with what Wildflower has to say. Especially about having to spend min $1k to get great customer service & bonuses. To me the primise is all wrong. Especially when there are better rewards through some dealers. The MC program still needs more revamping to make it enticing and competative with other offered programs.

Hey Pocket Change! Nice of you to give us an update about what you've been doing and as you may have noticed, nothing has really's changed in the last few months in the RCM world of NCLT. The 5oz cube sounds very interesting, after googling I discovered your description is 100% right on, yes a 5 oz cube of silver. I'd never heard of that before. Wonder how long before RCM takes up the concept and releases a set of dice? I suppose the "2" might be the side with the Queen's effigy, the dots on each of her eyes.

Wildflower, you are fun and on point as always. I did enjoy the Bromberg presentations, those studio lights make the coins look so good. I figured my home & yard needed some love for a change. Plus I almost have full movement back, so ive been busy redoing my rock gardens.
Coins now are more of a winter pursuit, when I am indoors, plus I have a few thousand from all my different collections. Storage is becoming a problem. A friend silver was climbing. So I thought better see whats happening forum wise.

So, I contacted the Mint about the wooden collector case. The period ending June 30, 2016 was the last year to obtain the free case if you spent more than $2,000 (Platinum Master Club) between July 2015 - June 2016. No free monogram case going forward for this new period.

No free monogram case going forward for this new period. This is unacceptable. The Mint publishes the "perks" right before the MC period, while people spent a money to gain the status, assuming that all valid as per previous year. Well, they changed the free box to rebates program. It is absolutely unfair for MC who wants a box and not discount on future purchases.

Curious. Is anyone else still waiting for their profile page to be fixed? Mine still has not reset the spend to the current MC period.
Not a big deal but three weeks seems like ample time to run an update script.

My profile page has not been updated since the end of December. I phoned my rep and he informed me that on his end it's up to date and there is not much that he can do, if I want to know updated information on my account I have to call him, which is ridiculous. The RCM is starting to look like an amateur operation not fulfilling their promises and giving their loyal customers the run around. I refuse to order anything until the profile information is up to date and if my rep questions me about my lack of orders I will tell him that until they fix their internal problems there will be no orders, more money in my pocket.

My profile page has been updated.
I still cannot figure out how they calculate my spend. So confusing.
I tried to add up all the new orders I placed starting July 1, 2016 and it does not add up to what they have written on my profile.
I tried to add up the July 2016 billings and it still does not match up to what that thermometer on the profile states.
Why can't they just give me a printout of what sales count for this new cycle? So disappointed.

It is very confusing. I had a look at my credit card info with when RCM billed me and compared it to the graph in my RCM profile. The RCM is only showing about a third of what has been billed after July 1. If the RCM is going to give a percentage back on every eligible RCM Product purchase to Platinum and higher MC, they really should look at getting those numbers right.

The whole graph thing is a Sham, they purposely don't give you enough credit for your purchases so you buy more, thinking that you can't add or waste your time counting, but when I questioned the accuracy the blame went straight to the web site and that their having some problems with the web site, which they have been having for years. Making that kind of money the RCM makes per year and they can't fix a glitch in their web site, how dumb do they think we are. SHAM

Online records that are not always accurate nor up to date, plus reps who do not rely on them indicates that RCM still tracks account expendures manually by spreadsheet and at some point a data entry clerk inputs the $amount into the online system. Human error results in incorrect tracking results. If so, the number-crunchers should be retrained to become customer service reps supported by current technology to enable RCM to get up to par with the 21st century. A company blaming the computer for some sort of mysterious glitch is about as old school as blaming the postman for a cheque that never seems to be arrive in the mail.....

Wow, luck was with you that your credit card info wasn't current. You could try contacting their 1-800 help line if you have hours to spare and some day maybe you'll get an explanation. Does the item also appear on your online account history as a new order?
