Not the best pictures but from older collection and while I am skeptical nothing screams fake at first glance.

Screams fake to me, but I've been wrong before.

Specifics?
1). Rare coin in very high grade that is not in a slab or fancy holder 2). Date looks "off", Eagle looks "off" 3). No signs of adjustment marks that are usually on these coins 4). Coin has spots of artificial toning buried in, and around the devices, that is typical of Chinese counterfeits.
It may be from an "older collection" but was probably recently added to it.

It has rims. These were open (no) collar strikes without rims per se.

COUNTERFEIT......There is no such thing as a 1796 off-center Bust Dollar. Off-center Bust Dollars were only minted in 1795.

It is the "6" in 1796. All have a tear drop design. This does not. Should of seen it.

Complete loss of detail separation between design elements and fields. Denticles rough and uneven. Strike makes center design appear strongly struck which is almost never the case.

I agree with everyone. I just wanted to add that it has an off center bust which was only used on those dated 1795.
