I meant to post this under http://goccf.com/t/251609&whichpage=4 Here are my favourite 43 die cracks. Retained broken die actually. I have a 3rd one in an earlier state around too. pginrh Valued Member Canada 456 Posts	Posted 03/04/2017 09:47 am Hi Robmck1967: Your coins pictured above started as two separate die cracks which eventually joined to become Zoell catalogued minor variety FL444e. Good examples of further deterioration of the cracks to illustrate why they are called Progressive Die failures as the repeated pounding of further coin production.causes the cracks to spread (ie Progress).
