OBSession927 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/24/2018 2:36 pm I've been searching through my pocket change over the past few months and I think I finally found something. Is this an error or just a scratch? I don't think it's a scratch because it cuts into the top numbers in the year and a little bit on the bottom part of the L in Liberty. If it is an error is it worth anything? There's also a part of the rim missing like it got hit. I tried to outline it without covering anything as best as I could. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture or not but there's a small line in between the "I" and "B" in Liberty even with the bottom of the letters. Thanks for any input! Second, yes that is a scratch and it occurred after the coin was struck, perhaps by a rolling machine. Your quarter is spendable, but hopefully you find a keeper soon!
