a few weeks ago the bank called told me they have some coins for me it turned out they had a small pile of 50c coins for me 6 of which were silver. today another bank called me and said we have $30 in pennies and silver dollares for you, so I went by picked up the pennies then the teller grabbed a ziplock with 50c and dollar coins and I could tell right away there was silver  when I goto the car one of the dollars was 1936!! also was 6 silver 50c coins. love getting silver at face!  |

That's great Gidjit!
I get a call regularly for silver dollars and 50 cent pieces but they have always been nickel dollars. Better than no call I guess

Wow that is awesome! Question if you don't mind, I have tried to get tellers to give me any pennies that come in but they refuse to as they are not allowed to send them out again once they come in. How did you end up with that agreement?

How did you end up with that agreement? well first off not all banks give me pennies and the ones that do depends on the teller, I can go in one day and the teller will tell me they're not allowed to hand them out, I go back the next day when that person is not working and ask again and then I get yes we have lots how many do you want?, a few banks know me now and call me when they come in, one bank teller last week told me I dont think were allowed to hand them out ,he turned to the manager and asked, she said well were mot suppoed to but I dont care go ahead. all I can say is keep trying and eventually you will find a few that will help you(just dont dump your pennies there).i asked the manager at one of my favorite banks how many pennies have you sent back since 2012? she said none you bought them all lol

Side note - I need a bank teller with my number on speed dial when silver comes in!
