1983 D Coin Mint Error Unknown Very Obvious Mistakes..please Help Identify

mpwilson New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 03/04/2020 05:19 am I found this coin a few weeks ago in a piggy bank purchased at a thrift store. It was one you have to break to open, and all coins were mainly from 1983 and in good condition. I have been looking online, reading.. but no luck yet. I'll post some pictures below. All I see is a Lincoln Cent that has some plating bubbles and Die Deterioration on the Reverse. This considered damage ( PMD), not an error. The first couple of years for copper plated cents (1982-1983) seem to be the worst for this, but you can find it on LOTS of ZLincolns. The reverse image seems to have disappeared.
