1983 P Roosevelt Dime - Coin Community Forum

WolfDave New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/20/2020 6:08 pm I have a 1983 P Dime; this is what I know about it: Weight=2.24g Diameter=16.8mm Non reeded completely smooth edge Very defined ridges to both sides of the coin No sign of any clad to reverse side seen on edge of coin I am including a few pics of the dime. Just wondering how common this might be and hopefully a grade and value to this coin. I have done some looking online but have not seen anything that fully matches it. I hope the images are good enough for someone to give me an idea of mainly the value to this coin. Report this Post to the Staff

tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7933 Posts	Posted 07/20/2020 6:24 pm Since this coin is 1 mm smaller than the mint specification, it has been mechanically altered to make the rim more pronounced, and to smooth the edges. I am pretty sure it is not a mint error, but look for other comments here. Report this Post to the Staff
