I found this 1989 p dime in my change and noticed that it looks off centered and some of the letters are almost gone. Just curious if it's worth anything or of it's a common error. Thanks.
Please show a complete photo of both sides of the coin posting. All I can tell from the partial photo is that it looks like partial Grease Filled Die. Not enough to command a premium.
Note the bridge of the nose. I see evidence there, that there was an issue with Feeder Finger Damage that was removed and weakened that area. Also the Motto appears weakened on some of the devices. The reverse will also be altered a bit also. But there is no premium for this. But it just an explanation of what happened to the die that struck your coin.
