If I didn't know better I would swar it has a bad casting. I think I can feel the imperfections on it but the more I try, the more I think it's my imagination. What do you all think this is? My vote is that these parches on the fields are reside from this coin being held down by scotch tape. Something was in contact with the surfaces for a long time and left behind this residue. Also, remember that these coins are not cast, but rather struck.
