I purchased several items on a popular online auction site and the package arrived yesterday. Checking through the items, there was a delivery mistake. Instead of this 1936-D Lincoln Wheat cent that I purchased for $15 was an 1883 Morgan dollar.
I did alert the auction house to the error.

Its not a Carson City, so.... I'd have no problem returning it.

I had a similar experience many years ago--not as dramatic. I purchased a AU55+ '26 S Wheat cent and received a ~AU52/53 '31 S cent. Got it straightened out. That '31 S would have been a nice upgrade...

Whoops. There's someone out there opening a package expecting to find a Morgan dollar and getting your LWC though.
Check out my counterstamped Lincoln Cent collection:

chafemasterj, that's why I called the auction house. I felt sorry for the person who didn't get their Morgan.
