I have this Morgan listed on ebay for sale.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/195598378750

A buyer sent me an offer this morning which I quickly declined. While I was at the computer I decided to look at some newly listed Morgans, I then see my Morgan listed by the buyer that sent me the offer. Pretty much a copy/paste of my Ad, with a + in price.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/155503093450

I sent a "report" through the new Ad listed to ebay, all I was able to convey was the drop down pre-options/explanations.

I feel this seller needs to be investigated and probably banned. I don't know how to contact ebay beyond the "report listing' options.

Any thoughts will be appreciated, Thanks!

The rookie ebay ripoff seller is only asking $45 more? That's hardly even worth the effort, I'd have at least bumped it up to $485.

From their Buyer Feedback, it looks like they may be making offers, then trying to flip the item before paying for it, then if it does not flip in the amount of time given to pay, they don't pay.

yikes!

I've heard it's called dropshipping. When you sell a product that you don't have.

Well, the proper use of dropshipping would be selling the product and then having it shipped on your behalf to the customer from the manufacturer or a warehouse. That's perfectly fine.

Depending on whether you are an agent of the manufacturer/warehouse or a 3rd party, there's some legerdemain that happens behind the scenes (to get around selling what you don't own), but it's all covered by contracts and pretty much on the up and up.

This doesn't seem quite like that, um, honest.

I've seen some sellers add their user name to the photo, presumably to prevent this exact scenario.

Adding a user name to a photo can be done quite easily on a Mac using iPhoto or Preview - not sure how difficult it might be on a PC. Not sure if it's worth the time/effort - maybe for higher priced coins.
