Hey what do you meaning for this 1988D (error coin?). I mean it's nice one :) Looks like Brand New but doesn't have details on front ad rear... Please tell me about this coin I am here new... I wanna update all my collectibles coins and mybe we can make some deals...  |

 To CCF! Appears to have been sanded down. Just PMD. Does the obverse look the same? Errers and Varietys.

As stated in your first thread, it's been sanded down by a grinder or sander. PMD. Errers and Varietys.

to the CCF, ErorrCoins! To me it looks like a heavily worn or abraded Jefferson nickel. Perhaps a picture of the reverse will change my mind. Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

 It would appear that the reverse has been sanded down. Also, it is better to images your coins while they are not in an protective enclosure (such as a 2x2 or that plastic coin holder you displayed with the coin. Now that being said, it that plastic holder made from PVC? If so, remove it and place it in a NON-PVC holder. PVC is harmful to coins over time. |
