I am new to coin collecting and have scoured my change and found a handful of error coins. Most are minor in nature and are explained by other posts I found. This quarter has two distinct blobs, with an associated dent on half the coin thickness. It seems like it was during stamping, but I am unsure. Any help would be appreciated.  |

@cke, first welcome to CCF. Second, those blobs of "extra" metal around the rim seem more like damage to me than Cuds, although the one at 10 o'clock might be worth exploring on the cuds-on-coins website. "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

If you can, post pictures of the Obverse side of the coin, and maybe pictures of the edge/side of coin at
those blob areas. Plenty of other damage seen on this reverse of coin though.

The 10 o'clock blob is in a similar location to CU-25c-1993D-01 Rim Cud but shorter. The rim Cud the listing is named for is on the obverse at 3 o'clock. So obverse pic would be helpful. |

to CCF Most of this is damage, the blob at K6.5 is also damage, but the one at K10 could be something. A shot of the rim in that area will help out enormously. and an Obverse image can help also. |
