I recently got a $100 banknote at the bank with the serial number:

GKW1987704

I'm into coins but know next to nothing about bills. Would this be considered a birthday note? If so, are they uncommon enough to hold any premium? Anybody on this forum born on July 4th, 1987?!

I'd attach the picture of the bill but I have trouble getting it the right file size, and you don't really need to see it in order to answer the question anyway.

"Birthday" notes are cool - if it's your birthday! You can get a slight premium for it online, but a $100 is a tougher sale than a $20.

Not a true Birthday Note although some might collect it.
A birthday note should read mddyyyy or dmmyyyy
