2- 2000 State Quarters proof sets
2000 proof set
2000 mint set

Perhaps Kansas City is now hoping to sell high after having bought low. Assuming the 1872 two-center doesn't have any impairment from cleaning or other surface alteration (which won't necessarily be visible in the photos) his $700 purchase price seems like a very good deal. The current ebay bid is at $900 with 2 days to go, so the original purchase does appear to qualify as a "deep discount"!
