1878-S Morgan Possible VAM-41

I am leaning to the vam-41 because of the 4th star.. The star has the cut off point which matches a few different vams. The only pictures I found are on the Vamworld. website. .https://vamworld.com/wiki/1878-S_VAM-41
Their example coin is not as high a grade as mine. I guess mine could be an undocumented die variety because it doesn't seem to match every marker. Either way, it is an interesting first year Morgan.

It's definitely not VAM-41, your mintmark is much lower. I have marked up your reverse to show areas that will help you narrow down the hunt for this VAM. We already know you have a short nock, so I have put the short nock list in the link below. Look at the areas I have circled, the r in trust is key as to whether it is broken or not, you mint mark location is key along with whether it is doubled or not too, and the engraved wing area I have circled will help too. Start with the r and go from there and you already know you have a broken star.
