8100 Album Page 3, I Don't Enjoy Looking At

Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 6985 Posts	Posted 05/16/2026 12:02 am Anyone else have this "problem"? And suggestions on how to solve, what would you do? Pages 1 and 2 range from MS to VG (14D cleaned) all Brown cents, then pages 4 thru 9 all cents are MS RED. I'm thinking about chasing all Brown cents for 1935 till 1942S (thinking Red cents might be too costly since I'm working on other sets [classic commentative halves and 7070] although I haven't check prices lately) and then making the change over to Red for the 44 to 46S cents. And you've been here a lot longer than I have. You're far from the first person I've heard with similar taste as yours. Having said that, it's always been my goal to obtain the best of each specimen that my funds allow, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest to have mixed conditions on the same page. I might have an XF40 1931-S, and be perfectly happy to place a BU Red 1932. No problem from my POV. I know I'll never buy a 1931-S to "match" the 1932, and that's fine. Report this Post to the Staff
