Can I get some help figuring out what kind of damage this is?
I was hoping it was just a very tone die clash coin...

Looks like it may have been in a fire at some point.

Sometimes unless you were there at the time, it is
nearly impossible to say what caused the damage.
It shouldn't really matter what the cause was though,
it is still damage and devaluates the coin.

Post-strike damage, certainly. I'd think fire/heat damage from a ways in the past.

Weigh it if you can. If proper weight then can be fire damage - if light then acid damage. Anyway just damage - PMD. Only worth the silver value (bullion) - $5.25

Environmental damage of some sort. Because it's 90% silver, it's still worth its melt value.
Errers and Varietys.
