RWC112 Valued Member United States 171 Posts	Posted Yesterday 8:34 pm I can't find any info on this coin there is a 1933 but the obverse legend is different Numista doesn't have a listing for a 1936 50 centavos or Cincuenta Centavos the obverse has " Liberator of Columbia Simon Bolivar " for the legend the other .50 Columbian coins has Republica De Columbia. so what is this coin looks 90 years old but nice condition feels & weighs like silver. With regard to this coin, you don't mention a weight or diameter, but the inscriptions and design elements seem to be a pretty good fit for a Columbian 50 centavos dating to 1966. RWC112 Valued Member United States 171 Posts	Posted Today 5H 48M ago just got back from Harriy Jones Rare coins (1 mile from home) the coin didn't register on a Sigma machine not as silver or any other metal the Sigma tests there is no listing for this coin from 1935 to 1946 there is from 1947 and newer that is Cuppo Nickel Report this Post to the Staff

Soak it in acetone and it might remove some of the stain over the date.
