it has been a while since we last saw the dancing banana here:

that fiver was in the drive-up lane (of a popular fast food & beverage chain) way back by the menu board, nowhere close to the drive-up window. first fiver of the year. that's as good as two weeks of pickin.
a little while later, I discovered this:

see all those coins? all zincolns, twenty-five of them. of course, every one of them had been driven over. trashed, all of them, but they all went into a tube regardless.
and then I picked a dime from somewhere else.
so, three stops for $5.35. I have 2 full tubes of zincolns, i'll roll those up and add them to the bank bag.
i was previously working on cycle 21. I recently swapped-out nine 1g bars of Au from the bag of street-acquired treasure for two coins from my collection:

my 2016-W 1/10oz winged liberty gold commemorative and one of my 2008-W/Rev. '07 burnished ASEs went into the bag of street-acquired treasure. those are two coins that I do not want to sell. this move allowed me to sell the nine bars, but still retain the overall value of the bag. the cost of the nine bars is nearly exactly what the cost of those two coins were when I bought them. that worked out nicely.
so, gone are cycles 10, 11 and 15, and partly gone are cycles 9 & 13. those two coins became cycle 21. I am now working on cycle 22, which just bumped up to $63.
$81 to go to achieve $5K.
