I will be excited to compare, jbuck.
Seamonkey, I agree. The moving stuff around really doesn't bother me much, since I have all the empty ports at the end of the album.
That said, I'm not treating this as a scenario where I have to have every single port with something in it. I know a lot of folks would add some of the earlier proofs that aren't included in the album, and eh...I honestly don't care. I think having some of the satin finish coins is cool, though.

Quote: There is no official port for the 81 Type 2 proof. For my album, I just put it at the end and labeled it as a Type II have a look on page 1 of the following link to see what I did. https://goccf.com/t/406978

Yeah! I saw that.
And sounds good, Dearborn. Thank you, my friend! Now, given that, I had thought about getting some of the other satin finish cents as well. But honestly, I kinda don't really want to. Lol. I think just having the 2009 commemorative ones is good enough. They are, after all, sort of a special scenario IMO.

I dunno if I will or not! I feel like the 2009's are a special circumstance. I got things today! Thank you so much, Dearborn! They are definitely some beautiful coins! Here is a closer look at the 1914-D! Pretty happy with it and for the price I paid. Reverse - So, now, here is the updated corresponding album pages of course Feels so good to be "complete!" I also wasn't sure what order to put the Satin finish 09 coins in, so I just put them in reverse. Here are a few more long term-ish things I plan on doing 1. Upgrade the memorial series cents where I can to BU 2. Purchase the 1970-S small date eventually 3. Potentially add a 1922-D "weak D" variety in the spot where the 22-plain goes. I honestly probably won't, though. And, of course, I plan on replacing that 1979 S type 1 proof eventually!

Excellent! Did you do the 68-74 S business strikes as well as the proofs? I know it only has spot for one, sadly.

Yes, the first two pages are especially tough on the wallet! And thank you everyone! Seamonkey, nah. I chose one or the other honestly. Depending on the year, I may have a proof in that spot and I may just have the business strike. I had thought about trying to assemble all the Memorial cent proofs before 75, but in all honesty, this idea kinda sounds meh to me now. I'll have to look back and see what I have now for proofs and business strikes. Kind of curious now lol

So, I looked back into my album just cause I was curious. There are only a few coins that I have proofs instead of the business strikes. I have both the 1959 business strike and proof in the album, since there is sort of room for them with the three oddball blank ports at the end of the Wheat cents era. I have the proof in the labeled spot for the 59 coin. I also have for the two 1970-S spots, in the small date I have a large date proof and then in the large date I have the large date business strike. And then for the 71-S, I have a proof. I do also have a 74-S proof, but I have it in my "type set" album. Yeah, I think I'm good! I like how my collection is. I don't gotta have every single proof, as cool as that would be.
