I can try to add more photos if needed, tried to add a few dif lighting ones but for some reason this site wants to add photos in directions they weren't uploaded as and no option to fix it. Recently was told that they thought it was a proof coin but I can't tell the dif in them vs ones in decent shape still so thought I'd ask for your opinions since very knowledgeable people here. Thanks!

Not a proof. MS63 imho.

even with the lighting I think the coin had a light dip at some point. I dont think there is enough there for a 64 grade so I'm at MS63.

i would not solicit any assessments in the future from the person that told you it was a proof.

it can take a while to get your settings and find the best environment to take photos. once thing you do want to avoid is overhead lighting as it creates glare and obscures the surfaces. there is an entire forum focused on photography if you are interested in taking better photos

Many years ago, this one might have been in circulation for a little while. It does not have that eye-popping appeal to me; although it's that bad a coin, I'm at MS63.
