I have very little experience with Morgan dollars and even less experience in identifying VAM's. That being said, here is an 1880 CC Morgan in FR2. My homework says it is a #2 reverse. It seems this would either be a VAM 4,7,or 7A if my research is correct. However, the condition is such that I am unable to attribute any designation for it. Can I get some help on this one?

You are correct in your assumptions, those are your choices. Can you get some clear closeups of the areas I have circled?

Thanks for the feedback Makecents. Here are the closeup you circled +1. Looks like a die chip between PL and maybe a clash below IN GOD.
I also included a closeup of the first 8. The VAM-7 should have die chips in upper loop. I belive I see two but have no visual comparisons in my references.
I hope these lead to a conclusion.
