Again, thanks for your replies. I am in no way satisfied with the coin. As soon as I saw it it was obvious this coin was cleaned, and not long ago. My intent is to have no details coins in this completed set.
After I taking my own photos, I was able to tweak them bit and duplicate the sellers images. Deception? Perhaps.
Regardless, the coin is well packaged and happily on its way back to the seller with a full refund due on delivery.
The hunt continues. One takes a chance on raw coins when pictures are your only guide.
Thanks again for all of the feedback.

FC may be correct that the example was photo adjusted to give it an original appearance. I am leaning toward the cleaning being a light dip before or after seller's photo.

You have a good eye for coin grades and value. Buying anything online is a bit of a dice roll, and the dice are loaded when the listing doesn't accurately reflect the coin.

Don't lose heart. The right 1919-S is out there.

I appreciate that FC. It's not easy finding a raw coin at the right price. Especially on ebay. A fairly priced coin is seldom a safe bet. This seller is rated 100% with zero negative reviews. Makes you wonder. Full refund is the only way I take my chances. Now I know why the price was to good to be true.
Nearly half of my set is NGC & PCGS graded examples liberated from their plastic prison that I find reasonably priced at Greysheet CPG.
Thanks again for your feedback.
