Posting for posterity. Some day, perhaps, someone will revisit this topic from page one just to take the ride.

So in case no one's figured it out yet.. Today was one of those events I said was coming up that could send the Market's reeling..
There are a couple more of these coming down the pipe very soon..
And however today turns out, if you thought it was a doozy, it was just a teaser sample of what's coming. A small taste like those tiny free samples they serve you on a cracker when you go food shopping.
Today was not the "Uh Oh here it comes" moment, it's the start of that. Give it the next one to six months. What Silver needs to do is disconnect itself from the stock market ASAP the same way it stopped following the moves of the Dollar a few weeks ago. Had it not it would have been at $50 a few weeks ago.
So if Silver disconnects from equities soon, then when stocks crash, which eventually they will, then Silver can hold steady like it did against the Dollar.

Hey don't forget I'm a Silver Bull by nature... I believe metals should be higher not lower. But I know how and when to be a Bear... This past week was one example.. What happened today was good, it was necessary. Yeah maybe a bit traumatic for some, jbuck is stuck in Low and stuff But it's how it goes.. Up, Down, Down, Up, never a straight line. Besides breaking that stalemate and blowing off pressure it's good because it shakes out the sellers and brings buyers back in. And look at gold today it already bounced at around noon and is only down $50 for today. You'd expect it would be down hundreds.

Quote:Let me check my cart... Just please don't let it be the U.S. Mint shopping cart You'll never dollar cost average that way But otherwise today is just another bullion buying opportunity if you're stacking long term, there I said it.

Quote:Just please don't let it be the U.S. Mint shopping cart Nope. I already bought that overpriced silver proof set that was most definitely for the collection and not the stack. This morning I awoke to the sound of hooves, bovines that is. There were bison, and oxen, cattle, musk ox and yak and all sorts and the sun was shining again.
A couple of weeks ago the market signaled, to anyone willing to see it and accept it, that silver was going to get pulled down to between $55 and $60 dollars.
Yesterday Silver hit an intraday low of $55.56
As of today, right now, Silver is back up to around $57.20 (that's kind of between $55 and $60) so that's all behind us.. It's a new day now, and it's time for the market to look for the next move and the next direction.

I always seem to miss your predictions until after they have come true and you have repeated them, Harry. So if the market was signaling a couple of weeks ago that silver was going to get pulled down to between $55 and $60 (which it certainly did), what is it now signaling will happen in the next couple of weeks? Stay where it is? Go back up above $60? Fall below $55? Quote: it's time for the market to look for the next move and the next direction. I'm certainly willing to see and accept what the market is saying, but I obviously don't have your experience to actually know what that is. So, please, enlighten me. What is the next move and the next direction?
