You bring up some good points. And this brings up another subject, why don't they (and other manufacturers) make multiple album options? I would like to see multiple tiers depending on how much you want to spend. They can call tier 1 "Dansco Basic" and it will only have standard issue business strikes with no errors. Tear 2 could have some of the less expensive errors and then a 3rd Tear would includes every crazy thing, like the 1916 DDO Nickel or the 1922 Plain Lincoln.

I am confused here. I have never had a problem getting coins into the pages. Slide the front plastic cover out, insert coins, slide it back in.

LOL. Jbuck, I had no idea the front plastic covers came out. After trying to slide out a few of them on different pages, I assumed they were glued to the pages since they wouldn't budge. I just pulled out my album and got the front out of one page, though a few of them still won't move.

Boy do I ever feel silly

I am glad you got it figured out!

They can be tough sometimes, but once you get it out the first time, it should be easy from then on.

I love my Dansco albums, but this is one place where the Whitman (and I think Littleton) albums have an advantage: there is a thumb-hole on the edge of the page to access the slides.

Wow, I wasn't aware Dansco would create custom binders. I'm on the fence right now about staying the course with binders or switching to Airtites/2 pocket safe flips for flexibility.

I switched to Dansco albums a long time ago and I really like them. I even buy extra pages and binders and do put miscellaneous and extra coins in them. The ones that have a weird hole in the set for a coin that I'm not going to get I leave blank and never worry about it. The holes that are not filled on coins I intent to buy are on my buy list so that's what I focus on.
