Recent Prices

I think it has more to do with silver prices and just plain fear. I have noticed that all anyone has to do these days is say the word "Silver" and people instantly become "coin collectors" and know that with 100% certainty that since it is old and silver it is worth a whole lot of money.

For example.......... My aunt offered to sell me her worn common date Morgan and Peace dollars she has for $100 each. When I laughed and told her that I had some I would sell her for $75 my uncle (her brother) chimed in with "Those old silver dollars are worth at least $150 a piece, if not more!"

I don't think its an adjustment as much as they are hyping to buy silver and gold and hold it in hand...AFTER ALL GOLD HAS NEVER BEEN WORTH ZERO!! as the adds say....And its also true that there are those agencies that try to hold or minipulate pricing......at national levels the money is phenominal profit margins.. for us average joes I play it like the smallest violin, playing my heart bleeds for you....

WOW. I won't say such a bashing. but............I am certainly not a collector for profit. And I do not follow the silver or gold market to wonder what all the commercials say, "GOLD HAS NEVER BEEN WORTH ZERO"...what a joke......Not at you, but that the prices are changing......and ITS not correct.....these same coins are now up....+++++ does this mean everyone is collecting Morgans? I think not...I simple meant I think its market orientated, and PLEASE don't think I am authoritative....I haven't sold a coin yet,,,,I do see the price changes and have to wonder if they are provoking a buying scare
to make people buy to buy....Yet in my $20 or $60 limit. I still to have to wonder on pricing and why.....Marketing or Fear? its beyond me......But as you and I have a mind I still do question......I'm not rich but I am not ignorant or the markets influence...
