What gets me is that this is in a PCGS slab.
From my understanding
Die #2 is the only one of the four die pairs that should have a strong reverse.
And die #2 had a polished/lapped obverse that when paired with the strong reverse
never had any mint mark "no D"
Die pair #1,3 and 4 all have weak reverse and could have a weak or missing D.
This is the information I get from the LCR site
http://lincolncentresource.com/1922...rieties.html
Now when I see a slab like this it really gets confusing. Not just how it is listed .. but that it is even in a slab.
Maybe if I can find a weak mint mark on say a 1952 D, do you think I can get PCGS to label it a 52 weak D?
