I have aquired a coin that mystifies me. Four pence 1926 British Guiana. That is what it reads on the reverse. King George V is posing on the adverse, with the standard legend "King and Emperor of India".

My problem is that I cannot find this coin in Krause. I cannot find British Guiana at all in the 19th century book version, or on Numismaster.com. Not in the unusual section either. So what is the story here? I know the British made four pence pieces meant for British Guiana in the 18th century. This coin, however, is not to be found in the British section in Krause either. Strange. Or so it seems to me.

Look in Krause under Guyana. They hide it there.

Many thanks weavus and jgfindring! So obvious once you have the solution.

As an OFEC-collector I disapprove of bundling these two together...I will list this as a place of its own (I have Guyana mintage as well).

I also am an OFEC collector and I have yet to acquire one so the dilemma on what to label it or where to place it in my album has not been encountered. LOL
