I came across this strange 1994 LMC today. The reverse appears to have raised streaks running perfectly straight in the same direction, which isn't really what I'd expect from a die crack. So, I'm curious - what's with this penny?

They appear to be abrasion marks...probably a clash was polished off.

Possible Feeder Finger Damage, then a polishing left these marks. Note the die gouge on the ST area on STATES.
