maudry Pillar of the Community Luxembourg 588 Posts	Posted 10/10/2011 6:13 pm In hand this tiny coin is looking great. On the scan the incrustation seems very strong. I was quite surprised to see all those details on such a copper coin. In general they have so much wear you can hardly read the complete legend. Would appreciate any opinion about the grade. If I knew any better I would say its too good to be true. But I have no experience with French forgeries so Ill assume its real. I would say an easy VF to XF, not counting the corrosion. It looks much nicer than this one http://www.numishop.com/fiche-bry_2..._1_1611.html which is graded as VF. Full detail of the hair and of the coat. I am very happy with this one.
