Hi,

This is one of my latest yard sale finds over the weekend.

Please give me your opinion on the authenticity, grade, and applicable variety/error(if any).

I'd say G-6 details corrosion. It does have quite a few rim denticles left for it's grade.

G-4 details but corrosion is probably there too. Mostly just beat up.
I like these 1700's coppers. You say garage sale, how much you give?

G-6 detail, these are struck differently than other draped bust cents. Could even make VG in terms of wear but its been beat up a little. Judging by my copper buys on ebay, the pictures may make it look worse than it really is.

G4 - I am also curious as to what you paid. I need to find garage sales like that one.

No, imo this is VG details but nets at a low G. I'd call it net G5 scudzy+.

This coin has a nice rim and the legend and details are all pretty bold. The overall details belong on a VG coin but the marks might bring it down a notch.
