Nice coin. AU50 Looks like a little wear on wing tips and breast but still very good detail.

I believe it to be a MS coin. I cannot see any wear on the lines in the garment at all.A couple hits in the sun and on her leg.I'm just not seeing any wear. The toning makes it a little harded to grade.

I see no rub. The 40's coins are notorious as weak strikes as the mint churned them out and didn't really care about quality. I grade it an MS 60. Perhaps a 63 in hand!
The question comes to mind whether in coins of this mintage, does grading become more lax? If this was a 1916 I would grade it an AU, but and MS 60 - 63 here. That is one of my grading faults. I do consider the rarity and the mintage as considerations. I need to stop doing that! Grades should not be related to rarity.
Alas! I am hopelessly flawed!

MS-60 is my guess. I have a 1942 that is a 63 and this one is just like it in terms of detail, except that yours has less detail in the bottom of the robe. Nevertheless, the head is sharp and this could be just weak striking.

I don't know about the grade, but the eye appeal is spectacular! Beautiful coin!
