Just figured I'd show these off here as a part of my initiation. These are some of the better qaulity Walking Libertys that I've seen in person, but what do you guys think they would grade?

Are these pictures sufficient? Is there a standard for coin presentation around here?

Looks to be Vf-30, and VF-35... As far as pics go, you did pretty good considering you got them both in the same shot. I always take a picture of a single coin at a time, that way I can focus on the details a little better. But to each his own... And last of all, to the community!

Thanks, I noticed the one on the right got a little flash reflection on it, but it doesant really take away from the detail on the coin. I'll take seperate pics from now on, and thanks for the grades and the welcome!
Rest in Peace

I agree with the VF grade for both.

Both of them seem VF-30 to me.

the 1935-s is much more worn, say VG20/25..the wear is very obvious on the chest its lacking of any detail while the 42 at least has some separation...the side by side comparison is a great way to see the 2 coins and there difference...the 42 is "MUCH BETTER". and I mean not by 5 points.....
I suspect the 35 has been dipped....its very shiney not lustry which many could think its a better grade...By wear along you can clearly see,,,the 42-D is the better coin in fine condition the 35 is a VG coin..not VF..let not the shine be your guide, the devils in the DETAILS...

To me the 35 (On the right) appears to have better detail, mainly in the chest area... Maybe most of it is distorted by the flash, I'll take a better picture of the '35 sometime tomorrow.
