Assigning values for grades like EF-45, F-15 and G-6 coins can be a challenge. For really high-value coins I'd recommend looking at auction results (ebay, Heritage, etc) and use that value. For most coins I use a formula. In most cases the coin will be closer to the lower grade's value, so I figure the difference in value from the lower grade to the higher, take 1/3 of that, and add it to the lower value.
So if a coin is worth $50 in EF-40 and $100 in AU-50, the difference is $50. One third of that is approximately $16, so the EF-45 coin is worth $50 + $16 = $66. This seems to be a pretty good ballpark figure in most cases.
