I found an interesting error in an album I recently inherited. It's a Lincoln Cent album and it's from around 1959. On the outside, it's identified as "Lincoln Head Cent Collection 1909 to 1940 Number One." But on the inside the dates go from 1941 to 1958.
jpsned, you made me get up and go look at our Whitman albums. My husband has a few from when he was a kid but alas, no error. Also, the key dates are missing -- still.
Keep that one. You never know if in the future such error items will start to be worth a lot similar to error coins. Examples are the Red Book with missing pages or upside down pages are worth more than the normal ones..
