A friend picked this up as a D/S, I didn't see it as that so I put it under the digital microscope and it looks like a D/D.
What is your opinion ?

I think the D/S is the same price as a D/D, isn't it?

D/S gets you a higher premium over the D/D

Both of these varieties are nice to have but the price doesn't go over $100 unless they are high grade.

It looks like you have a full rim, and liberty is bold enough for F-12, There is too much wear in the hair and on the buffalo to grade this coin VF20 and the scratch doesn't help so I would grade this coin F15. Varieties always make it more fun, nice find.
